The Problem
A lot of people come in saying something like:
“My elbow hurts when I lift or grip things.”
It might show up in the gym or just carrying groceries.
Elbow pain like this is extremely common.
Why It Happens
Usually, a few things are going on:
• Overuse of the forearm muscles
• Repetitive gripping
• Poor load distribution
This puts stress on the tendons around the elbow.
Quick Tip
Try this:
Lightly load the forearm with slow, controlled movements rather than avoiding it entirely.
When Massage Helps
Massage can help reduce tension in the forearm muscles.
When that tension decreases, the elbow tends to calm down.
If elbow pain keeps coming back, it may be worth getting it checked out.
