The Problem
A lot of people come in saying something like:
“My knee hurts when I use stairs.”
It might feel like pressure or sharp pain in the front of the knee.
This type of knee pain is extremely common.
Why It Happens
Usually, a few things are going on:
• Weak quadriceps
• Poor tracking of the kneecap
• Limited hip control
This increases stress on the knee joint.
Quick Tip
Try this:
Slow down when using stairs and keep your knee tracking over your toes.
When Massage Helps
Massage can help reduce tension in the quads and surrounding tissues.
When those muscles relax, knee movement often improves.
If stairs keep bothering your knee, it may be worth getting it checked out.
